Jenny & Mike got married in a beautiful ceremony at Nestldown, a truly magical place hidden away in Los Gatos. Jenny looked so beautiful on her wedding day, she was absolutely glowing! Whenever we are photographing an outdoor ceremony with lots of trees, Geoff will occasionally take a few shots with his infrared camera, which creates this glowing kind of look. Nestldown is perfect for that.

Here’s the ring exchange:

As Jenny & Mike exited, their guests blew bubbles at them, a really fun touch:

Jenny has the most amazing, piercing blue eyes, and of course, a stop at the butterfly bench:

A quiet moment in the fantasy garden:

Nestldown provides this cool British taxi to take you around the property. Mike & Jenny felt the need to grab a quick kiss first:

A peak inside the barn before the reception, and the outside of the barn just after sunset, enhanced by the additional lighting Jenny & Mike had brought in to show off the property at night:
It’s the moments like this that make our jobs so rewarding:

We love photographing weddings at Nestldown, it is absolutely one of the most fairy tale settings you could ever dream of!
Kristin & Kyle got married at Old St. Mary’s a gorgeous Church in Los Gatos & the reception was held at Villa Ragusa in Campbell. When Geoff & I first showed up, Kristin had planned for us to photograph the guys getting ready. Little did she know that the guys were sleeping in late that morning! So Geoff & I headed over to the bridal suite at the Toll House Hotel, where everyone was getting ready. Guys tend to get ready in about 15 minutes or so, while the women typically take hours for the getting ready ritual. Here’s Kristin getting gorgeous:

from the Toll House, we headed over to Kristin’s parents’ home in Los Gatos, it was more like an estate actually!

Here’s Kyle, looking as handsome as could be. All you need for great portraits is some nice lighting and a simple background. The Toll House is a great place for photos. Kyle’s an up & coming baseball player:

Here’s a few portraits from the park in Los Gatos. I love those fall colors:

This cake was absolutely gorgeous, and also delicious. The ribbons were a surprise, the bride had arrangement for all the bridesmaids to pull ribbons from the cake and they each got cute little charms.

On a gorgeous day, in a gorgeous location, Sheryl married her soul mate, Tri at the beautiful Villa Montalvo, also known as Montalvo Arts Center. Did I mention how gorgeous the bride looked? I love the deep reds they chose for the bridesmaids dresses and bouquets.

At Villa Montalvo you can choose from a couple of different locations for your wedding ceremony including the Oval Garden and the Love Temple. Sheryl & Tri choose the Oval Garden for their ceremony & the decor was fantastic. I love pew decor, it really dresses up a ceremony and they can be incorporated into the reception decor later. The rich reds really add a lot of flair to the overall look and feel of the wedding. You can also see what a difference the wood chairs make for the ceremony (these are rented, the site has plastic white ones that are included)

The ceremony was stunning, with the sun setting just behind. I think they used dried rose petals to create a rose petal carpet or path for the bride’s entrance.

They’re married!

One of the great things about photography at Villa Montalvo is the abolity to shoot from above, looking down on the reception. You know there’s going to be kissing, all you have to do is wait for it!

These luminarias lining the steps were stunning. The entrance to the Montalvo Arts Center is stunning day or night.
