Geoff was recently interviewed for a new website featuring trends, tips and ideas for planning your Bay Area wedding. Here’s the link to the interview, posted today on “G” day. This image above is my all time favorite shot of my very sexy husband, taken by Kelvin of course! Here is the link, enjoy:

For those of you thinking about holiday cards, it’s not too late to order yours. Images from weddings & engagements make great cards and are a wonderful way to personalize your holiday greetings this year.
“Uncle Jimmy” celebrated his 90th birthday recently with a party organized by his niece Jean Marks. The party was at MacArthur Park in Palo Alto last weekend and was so much fun! Jean had a couple of Laurel & Hardy entertainers there as well as close friends and family, many who’d flown in for the special occasion. Uncle Jimmy looked FANTASTIC by the way!

They actually did 90 candles on that cake, and lit them all!

Geoff & I were very excited to work with Cay Lemon of Zest Productions on the gorgeous wedding of a gorgeous couple Jenna & Ryan (who may also be referred to as “the hotness”). Every detail was carefully planned & beautifully executed. It was absolutely stunning. The wedding celebration took place at the Villagio Inn & Spa in Napa Valley. The couple chose a color palette of black & white, with a bit of fushia & red thrown in. Karen Axel Tapestry Flowers created stunning floral centerpieces & accents. Jenna & Ryan were absolutely beaming all day long, and their guests had an amazing time. It was one of those weddings that people will never forget!

Look at how powerful a statement the deep reds make:

I LOVE how green the grass is here. Villagio is a great place for a wedding, the layout and feel of the space is ideal.

More of the hotness:

the guests were greeted with these yummy Italian ice drinks just after the ceremony:

Here is the recpetion tent lit up for the evening. Lighting is so important:

After dinner in the tent, guests headed to the Barrel Room for dancing. They had this super fun candy bar set up for their guests:

Tram & Randall were married recently & Kelvin had the pleasure of photographing their celebration in Santa Clara. Tram & Randall’s focus for the wedding was simple-celebrating with their friends and family. Below is my favorite shot of the day, I love how you can see Tram’s reflection in the building behind them. Congratulations Tram & Randall!

Her makeup is absolutely flawless! Great hair & makeup are critical to having great wedding images. Tram looks so beautiful! Randall’s not so bad either…

I love how the twinkle lights give a soft glow behind them:

We’ve been squeezing in a few more engagement sessions before the weather turns on us, and luckily we had a gorgeous overcast day for Haidee & Wilson’s engagement session recently. While a blue sky is beautiful, the clouds provide some filter for the lighting, which we love. Haidee & Wilson are planning a vintage theme for their wedding next summer, so they thought it would be fun to bring that element to their engagement session. Their vintage looks definitely added some spice to the session! They choose Ghiradelli Square for their session, which is a fun place to photograph as their is a lot of variety & not too many tourists there during the weekdays. They were super easy to work with, and I can’t wait till their wedding next June! This is my very favorite image from the session (although the sky was better from the other side, as you can see):

I love the moment just before a kiss:

Haidee sure knows how to turn on the charm for the camera!
