Jessica started her wedding day getting ready at her parents home. The family put a lot of care and thought into creating a peaceful, calm space for Jessica to get ready for her marriage ceremony.

Wow, look at that bone structure. Gorgeous!!!

Seeing a table set so lovingly like this, I can only imagine the love and care in Jessica’s family.

I love the shots Kelvin did in the entryway to the hom. It looks amazing with the white light pouring in, Jessica just glows.

Choosing a fancy getaway car like this one is a great way to personalize your wedding day experience.

Paul could hardly take his eyes off Jessica during the ceremony. The ceremony took place at St. Mary’s in Los Gatos. Normally when I shoot there, I’m always told I have to stand way (way) in the back and not move at all. So I’m not sure how Kelvin got these great close ups…I guess he worked his magic!

I think Jessica’s already said yes, right Paul? Maybe he’s just double checking…

The one thing that really comes across in the images from the wedding and their engagement session is how much these two adore each other.

The reception took place at La Rinconada. The room has great details on its own and doesnt need a lot of extras. Notice the textured walls, warm colors and mantle above?

what a perfect way to end the evening, sitting around and enjoying the firepit as the sun goes down. Congratulations Jessica & Paul!
The Studio will be closed for the holidays from December19th – January 4th. All calls and messages will be returned at that time. Happy holidays and we will talk to you in the New Year!

Have you ever thought of doing a boudoir session? Not only is it a great way to feel sexy, it’s also the perfect gift for your husband or fiance. We love love love shooting boudoir sessions, as they are so much fun and very different from weddings. I photograph these myself so women can feel comfortable and confident. Every woman can be a supermodel for a day, and these images will be something that you will look back on in years to come. And most likely your husband will enjoy these images for years as well!
Several very lucky husbands will be receiving sexy calendars for Christmas this year. What a great gift! If you are interested in creating some sexy images for yourself or your special someone, we have a boudoir marathon day coming up just in time for Valentine’s Day. We will be offering sessions on January 8th and 9th, which allows plenty of time for ordering sexy gifts. If you are interested, let Nikki know right away, as spots are limited! The session is $400 and includes 3 8×10 prints. You know what they say, you’ll never look as good as you do right now!

Michelle and Henry chose the gorgeous setting of the Ritz Carlton, Half Moon Bay to celebrate their marriage. It was a crisp and clear morning, and Geoff and I were there to capture everything. We got to know this sweet couple a few months back at their engagement session at Stanford. Michelle and Henry are both very laid back and easy going.

Michelle chose very cute pewter cocktail dresses for her bridesmaids. The orange bouquets really pop against the dresses.

The florist lined the ceremony aisle with fresh rose petals and then finished the look with a circle of rose petals. Simple, yet adds a nice splash of color.

Michelle and Henry had a very brief ceremony in the late morning. While most of Henry’s family is from Saratoga, Michelle’s family traveled from overseas to be with her on her wedding day. As always, Tony White was there to ensure everything ran smoothly!

Michelle has a great smile! So does Henry!

The decor was simple yet elegant. Red was the theme color, perfect for a fall wedding.

Look at the cute little crystal teddy bears Michelle and Henry used for their cake topper? The little wrapped package cake is a signature element of Elegant Cheesecakes. Yum!

After the toasts Michelle changed into a traditional red dress, which looked stunning on her. Congratulations Michelle & Henry!

Jennifer & Josh are engaged, and Kelvin helped them celebrate with a couples portrait session at Baker Beach. The weather was amazing and the lighting was absolutely perfect.

I love the color of the water in this image. Jennifer and Josh chose a relaxed dressy style for their portraits. The crisp white button down looks great against a beach backdrop, and Josh’s cowboy boots add personality. Jennifer’s simple black dress is perfect for the beach.

I love the texture of the rocks behind them. Baker Beach is great for engagement sessions, because you have the traditional images of the bridge in the background (weather cooperating) like below, as well as trees, rocks, water. Lots of options!

Congratulations Jennifer & Josh!

Kaycee and Matt are getting married! Kelvin met up with them Ghirardelli Square recently for their engagement session. These two are just so happy. I think Kelvin really captured their relationship.

They have great style, which we love to see at engagement sessions. We love Kaycee’s fabulously large, textured belt over a cute blouse. It adds contrast to the look, and Matt’s tie and nice shirt look classy even under a warmer jacket. They look so comfortable on camera!

Adding extra makeup to your normal style works great on camera; it shows up better than a more natural finish. The image of Kaycee on the left is one of my favorites from their session. She just looks adorable, playful, approachable and gorgeous too. Matt, anything I’m forgetting?

Elena loves urban settings for engagement sessions – it’s so much more to play with in the remastering.

Notice how they are touching in some way in every image? This really creates an on-camera connection. Holding hands, putting your arms around each other, snugging in close, these are all ways to express your feelings about each other without necessarily making out (not to discourage anyone from making out on-camera; you should know by now I love it when couples bring on the hotness).

Congratulations to you both; we are looking forward to the wedding next year!

Claudia & Chuck are getting married next May. They are a great couple with the right balance of playfulness and romance. Kelvin photographed them for their engagement session at the Elizabeth Gamble Garden.

Keeping it casual, this couple let the session be all about their relationship and how they are together.

I met Claudia & Chuck at the 2009 Wedding University, where I served as a “Professor” along with Kevin Chin. I’ll be speaking at the 2010 Wedding University (along with Kevin) and this is a great opportunity for engaged couples (or brides and moms) to come and learn the insider tips on planning a wedding from the pros. Look for more details on the blog shortly.

I love the fall colors behind them.

I really love the way Kelvin composed this image, the lines lead you right to the couple.

I really like the black and white for this image. You are totally drawn in to their eyes and smiles.

Congrats Claudia & Chuck! They have a great wedding planning with lots of fun surprises, we are looking forward to being a part of it!
