Brienne & Daniel chose Stanford for their engagement session, which was a great choice since that’s where it all started for them! Both Stanford grads, Brienne & Daniel shared some of their fond memories of their time on campus with us (something about the long standing tradition of fountain hopping kept coming up…) These two are getting married the at Flood Mansion in San Francisco in May:

Shalini & Martin chose the Palace of Fine Arts as their backdrop for their engagement portraits. These two know the secret to a long distance romance-Martin is living in London right now while Shalini is in the Bay Area! They’ve chosen the Fairmont San Jose as the location for their wedding, it’s going to be one of those fabulous Indian weddings, filled with vibrant color & passion. Kelvin will be documenting the wedding celebration for them, so they decided to have an engagement session beforehand as a way to get comfortable in front of the camera & get to know Kelvin better. Here’s my favorite image of the day:

one for mom and dad:

finally, what a way to end the session, with a final image of the Golden Gate Bridge in the background:

Sophia & Gareth are getting married in January at Kohl Mansion. We met up with them at Stanford for an engagement session. They ordered a Signature Book, which is a leather album containing their favorite images from the engagement session, and the guests at the wedding can sign the pages with their wishes and hopes for the couple. It’s a great way to combine the tradition of a guest signing book with a way to enjoy the engagement images.

Look at those lovely fall colors:
