Haidee & Wilson’s engagement session at Ghiradelli Square

by Lara on November 4, 2008

We’ve been squeezing in a few more engagement sessions before the weather turns on us, and luckily we had a gorgeous overcast day for Haidee & Wilson’s engagement session recently. While a blue sky is beautiful, the clouds provide some filter for the lighting, which we love. Haidee & Wilson are planning a vintage theme for their wedding next summer, so they thought it would be fun to bring that element to their engagement session. Their vintage looks definitely added some spice to the session! They choose Ghiradelli Square for their session, which is a fun place to photograph as their is a lot of variety & not too many tourists there during the weekdays. They were super easy to work with, and I can’t wait till their wedding next June! This is my very favorite image from the session (although the sky was better from the other side, as you can see):

I love the moment just before a kiss:

Haidee sure knows how to turn on the charm for the camera!

This couple’s wedding will be taking place later at the Julia Morgan Ballroom. Can’t Wait!

Man! I wish you guys were doing photography when we got married. Our photo album would have turned out so differently. These images are amazing!
and I gotta agree with you…the moment just before the kiss is WAY sexier than the kiss. Maybe for an anniversary we’ll have you take some pix of us. I love the “pressed up against a brick wall” pictures. We have hardly any pictures of us, because one of us is always snapping pictures of the kids.

I love checking your blog. The pictures bring joy to my day….even though I don’t know any of these people!
