I got to photograph Melissa and Mike for their engagement session recently, and we had a blast. It was so much fun! These two are so sweet and so goofy together, all they had to do was just be themselves for an hour, and that was pretty much the session!

Melissa and Mike’s wedding doesn’t take place till fall 2010, so it was nice to get their engagement session done early so they can enjoy the images all year leading up to the wedding.

The girl has perfect skin. And perfect hair. And gorgeous eyes. Yes, Mike is one lucky man!

I like how the yellow in the foliage plays off Melissa’s blouse. Good idea Melissa! (she picked out this location).

I love the red underneath her heels, adds a nice touch of flair! We gave the image above right a bit of cross processing to give it that funky blue look.
And you know I can hardly consider an engagement session complete unless I’ve included a red brick wall somehow. She’s in solid colors, he’s in stripes, and their outfits work well together.

What’s so nice about this area is you can get so many different looks-urban, San Francisco, the ocean, etc. This is still my top spot for engagement sessions.

That’s the end of the sneak peek! You’ll have to wait until next year to see their wedding photos, when they get married at Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay. Congrats Melissa & Mike, and be sure to enjoy your engagement!
