Mini Engagement Session | Ann + Lux

by Lara

This past weekend, Erin and Kelvin met with one of the sweetest couples, Ann & Lux for a mini engagement session. The whole photography session lasted about 15 minutes total. Luckily, we were working with a couple that has wonderful chemistry; and that chemistry really translates on camera. Just between you and me, the first 15-20 minutes of an engagement session is often the “warm up” period and as a photographer, you aren’t getting so much until the couple gets a bit more relaxed. Not so with these two!!!

Ann and Lux made the most of their on camera time by putting together a coordinated look.  Her blue dress adds a lot of visual “pop” and really compliments her eyes. His checkered blue shirt under a blazer is casual yet upscale, and really works with her outfit while adding texture.

Often our clients worry that they aren’t very “photogenic.” The trick is really to just relax and be with each other, allowing your photographer to capture your relationship. That’s what it’s all about. Take for example the image above. You can see how much he cares for her. It’s all right there in his smile, the way he is looking at her. And she’s beaming. It’s all captured…

Congratulations on your engagement Ann & Lux!
