On a gorgeous day, in a gorgeous location, Sheryl married her soul mate, Tri at the beautiful Villa Montalvo, also known as Montalvo Arts Center. Did I mention how gorgeous the bride looked? I love the deep reds they chose for the bridesmaids dresses and bouquets.
At Villa Montalvo you can choose from a couple of different locations for your wedding ceremony including the Oval Garden and the Love Temple. Sheryl & Tri choose the Oval Garden for their ceremony & the decor was fantastic. I love pew decor, it really dresses up a ceremony and they can be incorporated into the reception decor later. The rich reds really add a lot of flair to the overall look and feel of the wedding. You can also see what a difference the wood chairs make for the ceremony (these are rented, the site has plastic white ones that are included)
The ceremony was stunning, with the sun setting just behind. I think they used dried rose petals to create a rose petal carpet or path for the bride’s entrance.

One of the great things about photography at Villa Montalvo is the abolity to shoot from above, looking down on the reception. You know there’s going to be kissing, all you have to do is wait for it!
These luminarias lining the steps were stunning. The entrance to the Montalvo Arts Center is stunning day or night.
